Walking down a path wellworn,
Looking at memories forlorn,
That laughter and tears adorn,
Surrounding this path wellworn.
In more then one place
A blur is only left instead of many a face
Others are gone because those I have had to erase
To keep my sanity at an even pace.
Some memories I adore
Like with my friends and our laughter galore
Or finding my blonde headed angel and savior
And hearing the audiance clap for an encore.
Walking down a path wellworn,
Looking at memories forlorn,
That laughter and tears adorn,
Surrounding this path wellworn.
Lately snow has covered this trail
Pain and cold filling me as I inhale,
This path has become a mountain I must scale
But I don't think I'm strong enough to prevail.
Recently I've begun to walk alone
Trying to find someway to atone,
For the sins that into my very being I have sown,
Making me hurt down to the bone.
Walking down a path wellworn,
Looking at memories forlorn,
That laughter and tears adorn,
Surrounding this path wellworn.
Snow weighs down on me,
As down this path I walk tieredly.
I want to fall...god I feel so tiered and sickly
I want to grasp onto another's hand so badly,
But I just can't seem to find it in me.
So alone is how I walk down this path wellworn,
Looking at memories forlorn,
That laughter and tears adorn,
Surrounding this path wellworn.
