A Thousand Stories

A Thousand Stories

A Poem by Saturnalia
"

And still more to go...

"

I’ve peered into a thousand souls

and glimpsed at a thousand minds.

I’ve seen a thousand years

And read a thousand lines.

Still, I have a thousand more to find.

I’ve viewed a thousand people

And glanced at a thousand cries.

I stared a thousand hopes

And gazed a thousand lines.

Still, I’m not a thousand wise.

I’ve peered at a thousand heroes

And glared at a thousand foes.

I’ve peeked a thousand words

And stole a thousand lines.

Still, I’ve got a thousand to go.

Suggestions are readily welcomed. This inspiration fell from the roof and landed in my lap. It literaly came out of nowhere. I thought of the first two lines, and then continued to write. It was fun. What do you think?

I love this, it's quite well written.
I love the repeated use of "a thousand"; this is so good. [[:
I love the title.

I think it is cool that you incorperated the line:
"a thousand lines"
at the end of each stanza. It's a good write. Keep writing!
