Turn a New Leaf

If I asked you what your story was,
Would you say it was nothing much?
If you aren't interested in your story,
Why would I be any more so?
A life well-lived is worth living,
Is it not?
If all lives are worth the same,
You are worth the same as a millionaire.
Do what you will with your time here on Earth,
But know that you have to make it what you want it to be.
We are responsible for our own actions,
Even if the situation we are in is poor.
If the day starts out bad,
You have to turn a new leaf and make it better.
What better way to end the day,
Than with happiness and a warm heart?
Does it make you smile,
Knowing you can make yourself happy?
