Soul CryA Poem by Cobblestone TravelerA love unconditional but still capable of affliction
This unbalanced exchange haunts me
My roaring ocean for your bubbling creek All participation ever so consensual And yet we hear different songs I can't help but wonder how long I can carry on in this fashion Knowing that I will never be Equally as devastating to you If I never touched your skin again Would you feel the slightest ache Sugar-coated and smooth for now You polite capsule of tolerance But I'll be left shivering the moment Intimacy presents its empty palms
