First draft of something meaningful to me

When I think of you I dream
Colour resonant with reconnection
substance impending
Meaningfulness long sought

When I think of you my heart sings;
Smile is not forced
Feelings do not falter

Last night my eyes wept soothing tears as you passed through my heart in thought

It is your smile I treasure over all else around me
So long it has been missed,
so long I have required your hand to hold

Now that I have found you,
I am hearing the tunes of early birds in morning chorus

I will let you into deepest heart, passed my fortress
The love I will show you is mine and true
Selfless, and timeless
Together we will gleam in the light we can

Finding wealth in the joy you bring
Free time I will spend on serving your well being

Thanking god and the hands who helped us find each other
Angel, companion, best friend and someday lover
You hold a place in me solely yours forever

Home is in view and aligned, 
a place defined by the presence of you
