songs of... no one

an abstract piece.

"

i choose to tread lightly

over fallen trees and homes.

lately there have been

far too many comings and goings,

far too many for my taste--

or, what taste is left.

 

acid still wears your teeth

and crows still prey, ever the subjects of

convenience.

 

these are truths,

but do not take them at face value,

for a bee cannot live

while it yet stings.

Strangely enough, there is the connection of "what's the point?" and "if so, why does it matter". The "I don't give a s**t" attitude is strong in this piece and that far from a bad thing. You excel at pieces like this, despite the fact that there are meanings in this work that aren't there.
