a moment.

it is sunday and
we are walking through the park
my lady and i
holding hands in the sun
smiling a little
and
from down the path now
comes two men
hand in hand
laughing
and
we pass:
two couples
three men and one woman
share a smile
it's a transient thing
and now they are past
we turn and
watch them stroll
around a tree and a bench and
away
and the sun is all right
the air is all right
our love is all right
everything is
all right.
