Phasma Phasmatis / Dormio / (In Limbo)A Poem by CH ArchiveFinally I've been given the chance to fade out indecision.
Sleeping in a wreath of exquisite flowers I part my ways with the most beautiful ghost A phantom that had been stagnant by my side And diffused through me like a withering host. Finally I've created a mirage of passionate engagements Without the false representation of a magnetic love The paradox of being alive takes the form of flesh And its plethora of deceit rains from above. The plight of my ambitions can only be captured By the flash of a camera who's lens have been fractured. A partially designated soul will fade though transcendence The same way my lonely apparition had slipped pass the threshold And the mistrust given by such a vilified spirt Well be the same as the lies that the phantoms flesh told. Finally I've been given the chance to fade out indecision And the ghosts of my past endeavours will fall in limbo But no matter how much I erase the winters that transpired Fate will always send my phantom back through my window. When the clock falls through midnight I'll be heaved from my wreath And left barren in a silk bed filled with high tides and dead leaves... © 2012 CH ArchiveAuthor's NoteReviews
