The BurialA Poem by CH ArchiveThis poem is for those who fear dying. It all ends with a smile. Thats what somebody once told me. For a minute I even believed him. He kept that in mind until the day he died And Rigour Mortis contorted his smile, Into a still life. Caskets are just a burial shroud Just reinforced with shiny metal It all has the same fate, As the obsolete wooden ones. I don't want this to be all gloom, Because I feel a slight sense of relief. And if I'm writing just about doom, Then in what do I have some belief? This is just another day, A slight remembrance of a summer day, And it feels oh so good. Mother, I feel very good today. This whole weekend was a bipolarity And it ends oh so beautiful It ends with a smile on my face... © 2012 CH ArchiveAuthor's Note
