Osmosis (The Breakdown)

Osmosis (The Breakdown)

A Poem by CH Archive
"

A poem about how cold beauty can be. It can be fulfilling even though it is complete nothingness. This is a personal piece, originally off my poetry booklet "The Demon and the Gas Canister".

"

Osmosis. (The Breakdown)

I'm tearing into shreds.

Dissolving into a million pieces

Is this making me immortal?

Is this making me human..

I live on the lonely side of the moon,

Staring at the start of the universe,

Atoms colliding with each other,

Just like passengers in the metro,

All blank and sterile.

It's so beautiful up here.

Everything has its own purpose,

And its all so deep and meaningful.

What a spellbinding site,

I'll stay in complete trance,

While I watch the particles dance,

As I stand in the corner drinking chemicals.

This was a great day.

Even if I fell to so many pieces.

It was a great day,

Because every piece had meaning,

And every piece cut so, so, deep.

"Osmosis" is a great word. To change sometime completely. I like the description of the story in the poem and the strong ending.

This is very well written. It's sad yet calming, and has a nice rhythm.

Call in "The Lonely Side". That line is your thesis, and it's brilliant.

Wonderful work. It has this bite to it, yet contains this immense beauty and peacefulness in its completion.
