my wish for a special person in my life.

to where they lay

and I hope you’re happy

for even though

we can never be

my only wish for you

is for you to see.

help make me who I am.

I just wish you were happy,

because for each tear you cry

tears me apart inside;

wishing I could be there

to help you in your despair.

If only there was something

that I could do for you.

Even though we don’t always talk,

I want you to know I care

and when you need someone

I’ll always be there.

that I love you

and always will.

So even if we can’t be together,

just know that you’re loved

for exactly who you are

and I wouldn’t want you

any other way.
