I Wish I Could

I wish that I could hate you...

I’m lying in bed

crying my eyes out

all because of you.

I so desperately wish

that I could hate you,

but I can’t;

my heart won’t let me.

It loves you too much

and doesn’t want to let go.

But I’m trying

to get you out of my mind

and failing miserably.

I’m so broken…

I don’t know what to do.

I’m so lost,

not knowing how to pull through.

I f*****g wish

I could hate you

It’d be so much easier

living with this pain

and not thinking about you’

 

I hate that I can’t hate you
