Keep DreamingA Poem by Cass AsheSomething we all dream of having.
Can I be gifted a love beautiful,
A heart unshallow and most bountiful With the feelings that throng Too much to make heaven's face feel long? I'll give all I have to a heart so lustrous If I ever had a chance to get close, Then maybe I'd share a kiss or two Until the morning doves coo, Gently unveiling the angelic sillhouette Seeing every memory I can get Of the loveliest maid in all the land From the deepest ocean's sand Unto the mountain nymph and her lyre. Forever shall I clutch sweet fire Giving any goddess whose glimpse I catch Every so thing to make a new love hatch.
