A Poem by Tania Mo

I'm not a dirty elevator button
that you press and I go down on you
The way you treat a heart
Is worse than how a
Constipated man treats
toilet paper.
Instead of giving my
Heart to you I should've
put it in a crumpled brown bag
And thrown it away in the bin.
One for non-recycled waste.

Next to last line I read as "And throw it away"
but this is such a clever metaphor ride...
my kind of poetry...off color, but in a tasteful, poetic way.

Tq Jacob. Off color is good at times.
This one is a deserved kick in the teeth for one who treats his woman like a doormat. Feisty write Tania.

I like metaphor to be just pushing button at elevator. This person obviously use you without even notice you exist. Sometimes is better stay off from wrong affection. Great poem here.

You should know better than to give your heart to anyone. Why anyone would is beyond me. Relationships are laughable.

Ouch! Such strong words here, Tania. Some excellent examples conveyed here, even if the subject matter is quite sad and morbid. The pain and anger shines through in your words. Its a powerful piece of brevity. Strong work!
