Even tho your imagery is blunt & realistic (first lust, then abortion) I read these as symbols for a more universal leap of lust. Like the way we invite a person into our lives, but when we find out he/she is an embarrassment, we take them out to the shed & dig out the offending abscess making this person "not OK". Or the way we are fooled by satisfaction of the flesh before we discover it plants a painful seed of torment which must be borne or destroyed (I don't mean a human embryo, but the seed of whatever abuse or discontent happens in the course of seeking pleasure of the flesh only -- perhaps hangovers or DUI's or financial devastation). So much to think about for such a brief straightforward sounding poem! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

It's true that there might be pain, but would it be better not to give in and wish you would have?
Oh well, you're probably right...:)

Lol yeah I am doomed either way so I won't give in. Thanx Laz. :)
And especially painful to the heart and conscience---
intensity in your writes...you are so compact with your words, but the ideas expressed are infinite.
