Life is often unfair
unjust and biased
It should learn to
be more equitable
and impartial from
death that seldom
plays favorites and
freely embraces all...
Ask those who for
a living stitch shrouds....
That's where we are all going one day. Death is a great equaliser. Doesn't care who you are, how important you think you are, how much money you have, nothing will save you from the Reaper's clutches. A fact of life and well conveyed Tania.
I myself have not signed up for the inclusive death package so far.
I'm just changing my name to Frank Stein. When one part breaks down, I just replace it with another.
Frequently wish, Tania, death were not so inclusive.
Still, I do often enjoy witnessing very bad people suddenly discovering
their own mortality. The Great Equalizer does have its plus side.
Thought-provoking piece, poetess--with a rather amusing last line.
The reaper discriminates against no man......it's just a shame that we that enjoy life cannot live by the same creed. For all our perceived intelligence and evolutionary progress, we humans can sure make a mess of things at times; simple things that should be easy to overcome. More fine wisdom here, Tania. The final line is a killer! Kudos for that! 💛
Yes, give death its due. It does not differentiate regarding race, creed, color or political affiliation. Of course, it does not have to recruit; it accepts anybody and everybody, free of charge. Strange, though; no one is rushing to join up.
