Window of a NebulaeA Poem by Cory JamesMore...song lyrics? I think it could work both ways.
Window of a Nebulae
Alone on a somber night Gazing through the window of a nebulae. What comes, often goes Like stars unto daylight. It dawned on me by sunrise. Your pupils are a black hole; A sight for my overly sore eyes. Like Sirens of a fleeting galaxy Devouring all in the way. How can I escape your tenacity? Pull away the curtain to the sky; The Stellar dust clouding the heavens. I've found that the center of your skull holds a mind torn by cosmic Armageddon. And that's why you went supernova. You couldn't hold it all together. Gravity became your master And you, a slave to its inertia. Alone on a somber night Gazing through the window of a nebulae. What comes, often goes Like stars unto daylight. I won't find myself Wishing upon a ghostly star tonight. © 2014 Cory James |
