I feel for you

I can see the silhouette of your luminous smile

Where I feel safe

Where I'm not afraid and can't over think

But then you get uncomfortable and let go

Turn your back towards me and fall deep into slumber

I stay still and stare at the ceiling 

Waiting for day to devour the night.
