Summer?

I SOOOOOO BORED!

 

Summer?

 

 

The days pass by,

And I sit at home.

 

Sun to moon to sun,

Again and again.

 

So this is summer.

 

No school,

No teachers yelling at you,

But also,

No fun.

Everyone on vacation,

And I’m still sitting at home.

Nothing to do.

 

I wish there was a summer,

But we were at school.

Didn’t have to learn anything,

Didn’t have homework,

But still be with everyone.

 

Oh yeah,

That would be better than this.

 

This is NOTHINGNESS.

An interesting view of Summer, Casey.

I agree that, although it can be very freeing, it can also be monotonous. Sometimes it helps to just go on a bikeride or maybe plan a day at the beach. Nothing spectacular, but still a break from the cycle of sitting around.
