I am a liar.

Freely I admit this flaw. I am not a

hypocrite. I am not a glutton. I am not

selfish. I am not bitter.

I am a liar.

Selecting the truth like pearls

on a thin string. I am

angry. I am an iron maiden.

Graft steel into my blood, spear

truth into my veins. I will

not allow it into the air.

I am a liar.

Just tell me what you think. It is an old poem from college, left from a poetry writing class where we were supposed to write a short explanation of our worst flaw.

A critical bit of poetic self analysis! I like going back to a writer’s first piece and note’s (note was 2016). Would you mind if I suggest restyling the format to empathise a greater imagery and impact; tell me what you think! :-)
