Wonderful LoveA Poem by G. AndersonYou held much more than my hands in yours. You held my heart. My love. Joy. Happiness. You held everything that constructed me.
The moon was a milky crescent in the sky, And our silhouettes swayed with dance. You held me close. In love, Close to your heart, where I was meant to be.
The crickets trilled in the forest, cloaked By a mystic black cover of night. The weeds parted and swished Around our hips As we silently met the riverbank.
The moist sand delicious under our barren feet. Stars glimmering like medallions in the murky water. The tiny gurgle of currents ushering over rounded pebbles.
Two heartbeats together, sounding in the night. Love is a beautiful thing. And being in love with someone to share it, Is all the more beautiful.
We laid on the shore, the water hungrily lapping at our feet. The whispers of the night winds licked at my hair, Your shirt. And you turned to me.
I am in love with you. I want to make love to you.
The heartbeats speed up. We fill the night air with wondrous sounds And graceful breaths. My hands knead into the weeds, The grains of sand massage my back with every movement.
And you take me. And I give it to you. We are finally one, in soul and Body.
We share the mountain-top feeling, Gasping, Dew and sweat shining on our Nude bodies. We make a wonderful sight. A wonderful thing. We make wonderful love.
I hate the moment our skin departs, Severing the insanely satisfying moment we've shared. Everything was perfect. We were perfect. The love was perfect. The chemistry was perfect.
WAS.
I've made love once, And only once. For you've gone, Taking with you my happiness, and much more than my virtue. © 2010 G. AndersonFeatured Review
