Bad Guys Always Win

A poem about what happened to me last night. I was in a open mic performing and I met a awesome cute French girl, long story short I got cockblocked by a rapper who was aggressive on hitting on her.

Bad Guys Always Win
Good Guys Always Lose

Bad Guys are persistent
Good Guys are hesitant

Bad guys go for it
Good guys wait for it

Bad guys know when to make a move
Good guys are afraid to make a move

Bad guys will take your girl
Good guys will let it happen

Bad guys do what they want
Good guys wish they can do what they want

Bad guys will stay in a girl's head
Good guys, a girl will always forget

Bad guys love to cheat
Good guys admit defeat

Bad guys are the ultimate players
Good guys are not even in the game

Bad guys are the power
Good guys throw in the towel

You see this is why the bad guys win
Good guys are just too timid
We need to get livid
We can't give in
To the bad guy's whim
We need confidence
And finally the good guys will win

I liked this - It does seem like the bad guys always win and the good guys lose - but not always! I think there is so much grey area in life, you never really can know for sure whose 'bad' and whose 'good"- Fact is we all have a little of both the bad guy and the good guy in us, depending on the situation :) Enjoyed your work as always reviewer!

Hm.. let him be aggressive then, I personally don't really like french girls. Some are nice, but some are.. questionable. That's what you get for living in a french province. Let him have her. Better and bigger fish in the sea. Plus, I doubt he can write as witty and charming poems as you can :)

Yeah she was cute and adorable...i was doing all the right things i was telling her about poetry places to go to so she can perform she gave me her e-mail but the rapper was so aggressive.....he wouldnt let her leave becuz she kept saying she needed to leave..He looked at me very pissed off....then I thought Oh well....its no big deal since i just met her at a BAR and BARS are the worse place to meet people......but the unsigned rapper did inspired me to write another poem.....ill post it soon. its gonna be brutal. thanks for ur compliments :D that cheered me up

Wow, this is a great comparison between the good and bad guys. For some reason most girls fall for the bad guys but there is a good guy out there waiting for her. I have to admit I used to be one of those girls always get hurt by those "bad" guys. The truth is I'd take a sweet and sensitive good guy anyday! Again, this is well written and sorry that the rapper took the girl you were interested in. That always sucks! You'll get another chance with someone, I promise! :)

hahaha well it happens. yeah i met a awesome french chick last night whos visiting and i was being the gentleman being nice to her. the rapper who ( will never be famous ) was very aggressive and wont leave her alone when she wanted to leave he kept making her stay longer forcing her to listen to his crappy rap music from his cellphone :P at that point i gave up and left and wrote this poem :) u see....... thats how my mind works. i started writing this in the subway
