Catchy title, is it an actual word or something you made up. Sounds like a real word, but eh....
Well it's the great debate in verse form. Science vs. Religion. Who is right? Who is wrong? No one really knows, but they all think they do.
My question...Who gets to ultimately decide who is right and who is wrong? You, me, the invisible monkey from mars? My point, why debate this at all. Believe what you believe and leave the rest of us alone. Okay geting on a soap box here so I'll stop.
I'm not saying I don't like the piece. I do actually. It has great potential to be something big, something explosive(lack of a better term here). It will cause poeple to be angry or to agree with you. Spark debate among the reviewers and those who just read it. I think there could be more or you could leave it as is. I'm sure it would work both ways. Nicely done.
God vs Science Round 2!
I forget which of your other poems talked about it but here's round two! I liked it. You said its incomplete, but I think it's pretty awesome the way it is. You have amazing talent.
"Heaven is a fantasy
There is no Pearly Gates
You can't face reality" --------------->> I liked this part, and I want to say something about it. This is interesting that you wrote this. I also wrote about this often, having the one opinion: Science is politics and religion is politics, too. Scientists don't have a clue about God because Linearity can't explain the universe nor God (ergo The Greater Mind), and recently, we can read that they come nearer to the bible when claiming, yes, souls are immortal due the quantum entanglement and despite its apparent materiality, the universe is actually a kind of 3-D projection and is ultimately no more real than a hologram, a 3-D image projected in space, and here we go in non-linearity, everything is just a projection, and what we know is real (relatively real) and what we don't know that doesn't exist. Only nonlinearity can explain the trillions of trillions loops of which this universe is made of. great writing.
wow, what a unique read! I personally have no position when it comes to believing in "god" (I'm not for or against). I like it! it was different and I'm sure it'll stir up a lot of emotions :-)
This is good, you got your point across very well, although I don't believe those are your true beliefs, I'll take my God over Sciencism, he keeps me sane.
