Monstrous

We all have our monsters, hidden within ourselves to cause turmoil.

I am trapped. 

Future, past, present

I was consumed by a monster 

But I learned to tame it. 

I feel him inside, still rattling his cage. 

Rage

Fear

Confused. 

He watches behind the lens of my pupil. 

He cant come out. So he plays slideshows. 

Toying with my emotions. 

Sometimes he wears party hats when I cry or roars the loudest when the lump is back in my throat.

He lives inside of me. 

And I can’t let him go.
