Dream a Better Dream

You picture me as a rose,
A white rose with petals that sparkle and shine even in the darkness.

You see me as an angel,
An angel with magnificent wings and a halo that shines as bright as the sun.

You adore me with all your heart.
Your eyes take in my beauty,
From dark hair to red lips.

You dream of listening to my harmony,
As I sing a beautiful song.

You'd write about me every minute of every day.
For I am your passion,
Yet you can't find strong enough words that could express your feelings for me.

You feel a connection somehow,
Attempting to piece together this puzzle of love.

This was so delicate (I know...strange word to describe poetry, but it just seems to fit here) and beautiful. I really liked reading it. And yes, love is so confusing and like a puzzle. Hopefully like a Thomas Kinkade puzzle though, thousands of pieces but a very pretty picture when it is all put together. Unless you have a poodle who eats random puzzle pieces...but that's another story. =P Great poem here, keep writing!!
