Speechless

To a friend..

It seems to me as if
I have run out of words to say.

It seems as if a bird
Simply carried them away.

For my friend has now returned,
And I've just begun to smile.

For I haven't seen my friend
In such a long long while.

And I've truly missed his presence
His aura, his stance.

And I've honestly begun to do
A fine little dance.

Sincere is his kindness,
Humbleness, and love.

He is honest, respectful,
And pure so like a dove.

So handsome and wise
And simply grown up.

So unique and detailed
Like a handmade teacup.

In truth, I know
That our friendship is ceaseless.

And so, I'll admit,
That he still leaves me speechless.
