Life is full or regret

It all depends on which ones

You can live with and the ones you can’t

The little mistakes

We make throughout

Leaving most behind

Others bold and without doubt

 

Keeping passionate feelings within

Building walls around our hearts

Ways to protect ourselves

From having our worlds torn apart

 

Most of us stay closed

Only dreaming of what could be

Wondering if “ significant others “

Exist for you and me

 

Then there are some

Who take a breath - taking leap of faith

And possibly find true love

For good things always come to those who wait
