My view on why the government is screwed up

 

Well my feelings on this are prolly different from most everyone else. I am disappointed in the American People, because we are to blame for the state our government is in. We the people either by self inflicted ignorance or lack of caring, or greed have voted these people into power to govern us. So it is WE THE PEOPLE that must Stand up and Remain Standing and Speak Out to change the mess we have allowed our country to get in. This is my opinion, and for now I still have the right to voice it. Until we the people let this right disappear like we have so many of our liberties. The elected officials only do what we the people let them get away with.

I see your from Texas..and I wonder..if you have the same problem we have in California..voting here is lacking integrity.. We no longer are required to show our id..if someone comes in..all they have to do..is say..I have moved..or I have registered and need a ballot..any excuse will do..and they are not to have id looked at all...and now it is spreading to other states..under the disguise of being unfair to homeless and elderly...
So yes we need to keep using the rights we have left..but they also need to clean up the voting to make sure the citizens are having their voices heard...
We even had our flag violated on public school property..take down the US flag..put another countries flag up..then US flag upside down underneath..no action was taken by the authorities...I wonder what other country would allow this to happen silently... that is all I will say.... I will go back to la la land now ...

i respect your opinion but still, i have a different one. i just want to ask you, are candidates the same before they win the elections as they are after they become really in charge? we vote for them, whatever the country, according to their promises. but then they may change. we get nothing from what they have promised..i mean we werent wrong voting for them since we cant expect what they are going to be like afterwards, if you will say that we should watch .. imagine how a country would be like if the people get out into streets every time there is something wrong!
