Forever long goodbyes

I had a hard time writing this but it came from a place of personal experience.

If i died tonight in spite of love
will you remember all the pain you put
me through and all the tears you let fall,
will you remember when you held my hand
you held hers to because you didnt want to
pick and choose,
days become years since ive long heard you voice,
and i will will myself away and expire from the past
and resume myself into the future,
into the foreign days and unknown hours,
to conceal myself away from seeing your face and
hearing your soft spoken voice, no time for
forgotten sorrows and forever long goodbyes,
Never another happy bliss, nor another love,
it was always you nothing left to say so now i expire and die tonight for love...
