King of All I Hold Dear

King of All I Hold Dear

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Flowers lined the boulevard,
Cherry red and darling blue.
Flowers lined the courtyard,
With their blazing petals and stunning hue.

Cutting their stems, I took them up,
Weaving them into a crown.
And then upon your head,
I went and laid them down.

King, of all I hold dear...
Be gentle in your rule.
