Death of The Devil

Death of The Devil

A Poem by CrimsonHints

I will pay my debt to the devil,
On the day of the devil's death.
I will forge what I owe the devil,
And put it straight through the devil's chest.

The devil will have no hold on me,
And as he takes his final breath,
The devil will have known of me,
And a fear of me, he shall confess.

I'll have no pity for the devil,
As he whimpers, begs, and pleads.
I'll be ready for the devil;
For me, he cannot deceive.

I will pay my debt to the devil,
For it was the devil who was fooled.
I'll laugh at the death of the devil,
And in his stead, I'll rule.
