The One The Owls MarkedA Poem by CrimsonHintsI can't silence my footsteps, The ground screams underneath my soles. They follow, wings pounding, Eyes made of fire and coal. My heart is on edge, The quakes in my breath grow louder. I feel a shift in the air, Water rains down and turns sour. I can't shut my eyes, For fear of what will come through the dark. So I watch the sunset, For I am the one the owls marked.
