No Little Birds

No Little Birds

A Poem by Al R. Arce
"

An homage to Bob Marley

"
I woke up this morning
Sad with the stormy sky
No single bird
Was at my doorstep
Just loud thunder
Making my eardrums bleed
Shouting, "this is my message to you-ou-ou"

Screamin' "Don't worry, 'bout a thing"
"'Cause if you stay home, you're gonna be alright"
Howling "Don't worry, 'bout a thing, I won't worry"
"I'm going back to bed, so I can be all right"

I heard a big thump
I opened my door
Three messed up birds
That crashed at the door
They were gasping for air
They whispered, "this is my message to you-ou-ou"

"Don't worry, 'bout a thing...
Don't go outside, and you'll be alright"
Beggin' "Don't worry, 'bout a thing, I wont worry
With internet and VPN, I'm going to be alright"
