Lasting EmbraceA Poem by CalebShe pulls me close into a
loving grasp. I can feel her chilling
breath on my breast. It is heavenly beyond
compare. I push her away because
the pain is too great. But she inches closer to
me again.
I love her, but it feels
like a crime. For she is not mine. But I kiss her anyway
not holding back. The more I kiss her the
more I know. She may be young, but
she is kind.
I promised my master I
would protect her. But our love blossomed
out of affection. I can’t help, but run
away. With the princess who was
promised to my king. © 2015 CalebReviews
