A Poem by christopher fox
"

"
I'm miserable,
and screaming in
my head.
I have no options,
my deck is dead.
the noises, are
driving me nuts.
the loneliness in
me consumes,
the conversation is
dull, and of no use.
I wonder what now...
as I patiently wait.
I'm tearing out
my hair
and staying in place.
I think back,
to all that have
broken my heart.
I think not so bad,
I think it wasn't
that hard.
hopefully, in the future,
I will think that
about this.
it's just right now...
I'm trembling behind
open fists.

I was there once, odd to think of it now. But this kind of pain is often a catalyst that sends us in search of the muse who will remain when the fog clears.
