I am your treeA Poem by K.M.C.a love poemYou are my bird, I love to see you fly. No cages for you, nothing to make you cry. So fly, fly free in endless sky, I won’t hold you back baby. Don’t be shy, To let your wings take near the sun, To kiss the moon, to laugh, to run, To count the stars, to give them names, To dance, to sing, to play the games, Do all you want, you are free, Cause the sun will set and you’ll come to me. I’ll hold you close, I’ll keep you warm, I’ll fight your fears, I’ll be your home, My heart, I’ll let it be your room. All night you’re mine, by day you roam. If you leave and I shed a tear, You’ll kiss me soft; ”oh smile dear, I’ll fly away but I’ll come soon, We’ll hug so close under the moon, A bird fly so far, so free, But always gets back to the tree.” © 2015 K.M.C.Author's Note
