A poem to the lost mothers

A poem to the lost mothers

A Poem by Ali chahine
"

Alhamdulilah my mother is still with me. I wrote this just at the thought of losing her

"
Tell me, please
Has god treated you well
Has he given you all you deserve
Has he filled your cup far past the brim, and overflowed your being with content

You know
I haven't been the most religious
But if heaven isnt where you go
I will tussle with god,
gouge the eyes out of the angels
And tear the horns off of devils
I'd extinguish all of hell
Just
so your soul evaporates into the heavens

It was made for those tender hands that you own
For those eyes that have rested the hearts of thousands
For the kindness, that transformed demons
And the love, ill never again experience

So much to say
But your time has run out
So I'll scream this poem until the sky cracks

Letting heaven allow you to shed one last tear

One last expression

My dear
