The other side

A poem to motivate me to lose weight

If only you knew what was on the other side
You'd spin the earth without its consent
Unchain the beautiful moon from the nights awful scent
With your own hands, reality you'd bend


Oh if only you knew the words i meant

You could be the man Kings kneel to
the luminous light
But you choose to be its shadow
You always tend to dim all you possess,
, because if you didnt, You might blind this world



The climb is high
Of that I'm sure
But a promise I make
With blood and tears



Your soul Will have no companion
Your heart's pulse will dip like a canyon
Your knees will fail you and broken bones will decorate your feet



But
You stay strong, a poet you are
Who crafts art on stone

Just take one step
And the peak will seduce you
It will reach out and whisper throug its lips
"Come chahine, look through my eyes. And see the truth you never believed"
