The Gift

Christmas Poem

Once there were three men on a special quest.

They were off to find someone they had never met.

Each of these men were traveling from afar,

to give to someone, they never met before,

giving in good faith expecting nothing in return at all.

Each of them bare gifts of value great and small.

The receiver of these gifts said nothing to the strangers.

He only smiled sweetly, you see he was a baby in a manger.

It took him many years to return the special favor.

But, he gave back one gift that was even greater.

This baby gave his life many a year later,

To save us all, you see the baby he was our savior.

The true meaning of Christmas is not about receiving gifts but of giving gifts with no expectations of receiving a gift in return. It don't matter if the gift is for a friend, loved one, or a stranger. Giving from the heart is the true meaning of Christmas.

that's nice the three kings from Orient are not expecting to receive anything in return but only giving seeing their reward in heaven, this is the lesson, life lesson we are supposed to know and love and model, follow and accept, something about it is just good and does not need any proof, we just know and understand of its goodness
