You stole me from a castle

You stole me from a castle

A Poem by Amy Michelle Mosier

You stole me from a castle
My defiant vassal.
We went butterflyback riding
Into wind that was sighing.
They set us down on a hill
Then we skipped into the vale.
We sat by a river of gold
And talked as it slowly flowed.
I wished for rain and it came
And in its midst, we played.
Where a rainbow met the earth
We danced around for mirth.
Before it could diminish
I gave you flowers and a kiss
And our fairy tale romance
Still, to this day, enchants.
