Love Note

Love Note

A Poem by softlyfall
"

A morning thought, be back later to catch up on reading yours, my poet friends

"
In the corner of his eye,
he nearly saw a small white butterfly,
and it was I,
the afterthought and promise of delight.
Beneath an armored chest,
his heart did dance,
daring the dealer of the deck to turn within,
accept the challenge of the chance.
I tease, I tease,
how I shall please your heart and hearth?
My prince, the beater of my trilling heart,
we are never to part,
but part my lips
and taste a honeysuckle oath-
taste me,
take me, my everlasting love.
I love you so-
I love you so.

Now I know why I was always the unlucky in love type for so long, I was always the joker who the dealer throws away. That plus the fact I only know how to play snap 😊
