Beautiful piece. The thing about this type of poetry is that they need to be both representative of distinct imagery, as well as follow a strict pattern...I think you captured that here. I would say this is probably more of a Senryu than a Haiku--because it follows the structure, but instead of being a piece about nature (which is 99% what Haiku does), it speaks of human things. Either way, really love it! Kudos to you!
