You thread the needle carefully

And begin to sew the air

Working tirelessly at the nonexistent seams

Accomplishing nothing.

There is nothing here for you to do.

Wow! I loved the mood in this poem. So short, yet it sent chills down my spine. I felt it really captured the frustration of helplessness. The feeling of endlessly doing your best, but it never being enough.
Good work and a thoughtful little poem!
