CoughA Poem by Dj GoldenA little friend that comes to visit around this time every year.I'm just being lil' old me Running up and down the streets And leaping from tree to tree. Through cracks in the bedroom floor, Through the window and the door On your faces and much more In your water, in your hair, On your plates and your pear, On your bed and everywhere With your kids and parents too, Always floating around you Still so much I have to do A small scratch, a little flea Somewhere just bellow your knee From me you'll never be free Throat feeling a little sore Chest heaves like never before You cry a vomiting roar. Now you make a pale, blank stare, Body's heat begins to flare You dream of a deathly mare Now you're buried by a crew, Doctor's say I was a flu, But there's still so much to do.
