TenUous ...

TenUous ...

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

A Verse in 12 Lines

"

I sit here considering,

as a whiskey I’m sipping,

the tenuous linking,

betwixt wishing and thinking.

.   .   .

Thoughts demand action,

And action, traction,

whilst wishing is distraction,

and hence a retraction,

.   .  .

Yet in dispiriting retreat,

defeat needs not be complete,

if within your wishing heart,

remains a thinking beat.

This is a clever little poem Dylan. I reckon you should pour yourself out another whiskey. That should do the trick. Turn any negatives into positives. Never lose sight of your dreams. In life you have to keep hope alive.

Cheers Chris,
I tip my glass to you,
not half empty,
it's half full :)
