… Missed Understandings.

You say a thing,

I hear another,

and switch,

Ditto.

Nobody’s fault,

just the way it is,

when two

well-meaners

think as two.

I think you have captured the national mood in this time of polarization. A person says one thing, another person hears something else entirely. Not sure about the nobody's fault part, though. Conspiracy theorists and misinformation spreaders know exactly what they're doing.
