Subtly Sublime

Subtly Sublime

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

A Verse in 12 lines

to look up

Sublime.

In literary arts

so often used

 in a rhyme.

Yet it’s meaning

I find deceiving,

‘cause Awesome it said,

yet subtle it sounds

to my own hearing.

Sublime is such a wonderful word and yet it isn't used much. Awesome on the other hand is used far too frequently. Awesome isn't classy, sublime is. I know which one I prefer Dylan.
