We need balance, so it is good to listen to the opposite view. Then you can make a considered decision. Debate is healthy. Sadly debate is going out the window these days. The new fascists don't allow debate. You are likely to find yourself cancelled if you oppose their views :) That's where I drifted to reading your words Dylan :)

Yes, I think it's a mark of maturity to finally arrive at the realization that others frequently don't think as we, ourselves, think.
And yes, I think we live in increasingly dangerous times ...right-wing extremists (fascists, as you say) and the Trumpish (rhymes with Rubbish) Big Lie!
I suppose that, historically, this is the norm, gradually changing into the world we grew up in, beginning with your 1215 Magna Carta. Thanks for that, by the way! :D haha
