I haven't watched much cable or network TV in my life, living beyond the reach of most signals. But when I was first unable to walk, feeling very sedentary, I got satellite TV for the first time in decades. I was shocked at how ridiculous the news had become & how invasive it is as far as planting massive fomenting. I've been "off" TV for 2 years now & I detoxed just fine (((HUGS)))

You know too much negative news is bad for you. There's only so much you can take. These days I have to ration just how much I watch. Having a sensitive nature, I absorb it like a sponge. Remedy? Get out in the fresh air and breathe :)

An excellent remedy ! I agree, there's nothing like a walk in the fresh air. There's a little lake, a big pond really, near my place, a doggy beach at one end, a people (&geese) beach at the other. One lap around it, summer & winter, and I''m recharged :)
