but wot about hedgepodges them luverly little prickly things that visit my garden at night and spend the winter doing what I wanna do i.e - hibernating n dodging the ice, snow and cold weather .. this either made me smile a little bit or my bells palsy has started to flare up again .. Neville

there is something carefree and happy-go-lucky about this piece. the rhyme also really worked; it gives this haiku an extra bounce. i try to live one day at a time and not worry about it all. that hodgepodge isnt good for you.
